The donation in Rochester is part of an overall $436 million donation from Scott to Habitat for Humanity nationally.
Matt Flanigan is the local president and CEO for Habitat for Humanity. He said the $3.75 million will help not only with current costs for housing and materials.

CEO for Habitat International, Jonathan Reckford said that, “Habitat works to break down barriers…and build a world where everyone.
In the last several months, Mackenzie Scott donated $20 million to the United Way of Greater Rochester and $10 million to Goodwill of the Finger Lakes.
